The SAD Group includes the family orchard farms situated in Tczew and neighboring area of the total area of almost 300 ha. Apple trees make up the most of the farming. We also farm pear trees, sweet cherry trees, sour cherry trees, plum trees, peach trees and hazelnuts. In the most part they are sold in our wholesale centers, and a part of them is designated for export. The average annual production is over 7 thousand tons.
Thanks to many years of experience, advanced technology of cultivation and the knowledge of the market needs, we produce excellent quality fruit of many varieties. The apples from our farms are calibrated in the automatic sorting plant with the water unloading of case pallets which ensures the same size of fruit in the packaging and its highest quality.
As one of the leaders in Poland we have introduced the returnable plastic cases. They increase the transport safety, facilitate the hygiene maintenance during production process and enhance the fruit esthetics in the packaging.
We have modern storage facilities of the total capacity of 12 thousand m3, composed mostly of the controlled atmosphere refrigerated storage facilities. They guarantee the maintenance of the high quality features of the apples we offer and their availability all year round.
In 2008 our farms established Pomorska Grupa Producencka “SAD” Sp. z o.o. [the “SAD” Pomeranian Producers Group a limited liability company].
